I thought I would post our last mailer for everyone to read. Post your comments below.
"Hello again. As you can see there is no pretty eye candy in this email and you're probably also wondering why the subject line reads "Its been a slice"... This year has brought about a tremendous amount of change in our lives with Zombie Liquorice being the busiest to date. We've seen some amazing production over the past months, some mind-blowing designs and a following neither of us could have imagined when we started out.
We've been lucky enough to have our shirts featured on many blogs, websites and through various music groups. The highlight of our year though was doing Fear Fest here in Toronto.
Seeing such support and craziness always made our day! Seeing the fans come out and show the world of Horror what a REAL gore infused shirt looks like made all the hard work worth it. However there were circumstances beyond our control that caused us to take a carfeul look at things. We did alot of careful thinking and consideration while we were manning our booth at this years Fan Expo and by the end of it the choice became all too obvious, Zombie Liquorice would have to go. Sadly yes, we have both decided to shut down our gore fueled clothing line.
We have no regrets whatsoever about starting it and the crazy journey it took us on. We were able to work with some amazingly talented artists along the way as well as meet some incredible fans whose loyalty and support over the years has just been outstanding. We would both like to personally thank the following artists for going above and beyond their job description - Brandon Heart who has done over 10 designs for us since our inception, a truly talented individual and absolute pleasure to work with. Godmachine, who just blew my mind every time I opened my inbox and saw one of his creations, from the infamous Gut Eater's to Omen truly inspiring work and finally Joshua Belanger who has also been with us since day one and helped create some of our best sellers like Polarized & Not Yeti Dead. Please continue to support these guys and the work they do, I know we will. As of now all shirts are going for $10 so if that design you've wanted for ages but couldn't afford is still in the store, now is the time to get it http://www.zombieliquorice.com
So with that, all that's left to say is Thank you. Thanks for the undying support, the unfaltering loyalty to the brand. Zombie Liquorice wouldn't be what it was without you, the fans. Although new designs may cease to continue, the ones left behind will never die. Rock your shirts with pride; we do everyday.
Jason & Jeff
